Ok Gurus
Here is a doosey or at least I can not find any info on this anywhere...
We have a 2005 sql server that is running very slow, this is a 64 bit
machine it is attached to a san or nas I have been told that what
appears to be several drives are only actually partitions on that san.
My question is if I spread out the data across several drive partitions
will this have the same benefit to performance as having Several small
drives that you spread the data across.
