Default Cluster service fails to start upon reboot - 08-23-2009 , 09:30 PM

Hi all,

I have a three way SQL 2005 x64 Enterprise cluster (running on Windows
2003 x64 Enterprise). The hardware that I am using is HP Proliant 380 G6
with HP support pack from 8.25 smartstart CD.

The cluster is set up and seems to function fine (instances failover, go
online and offline). However, the cluster service does not start
automatically upon system reboot (I get some messages indicating issues
with netlogon and network connectivity etc.). When I start the service
manually, it starts just fine (on all nodes). I am guessing that HP
insight agents or another service is taking a bit longer to start during
boot and the dependency for the cluster service is not met and thus it
fails. Any idea how to troubleshoot this?
