Default Cluster with different versions - 10-27-2009 , 08:05 AM

Hello. I believe this is possible, but would like some confirmation. If
anybody has a KB or documentation to reference, that would be fantastic.

Can I have a two node Windows 2003 cluster and install a SQL 2000 SP4
instance as well as a SQL 2008 instance? Are there issues with running these
versions side-by-side?

cc,

Here is a document that explains how to do it.
http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...erCluster.docx

Note one special warning: SQL Server 2000 SP4 must be installed on each
failover node before installing any newer versions of SQL Server.
