Default Cant install SQL server 2005 -beta components exist? - 12-29-2005 , 10:31 AM

Whenever I try to install sql server 2005, it tells me I have components
from a beta version that need to be removed.
I removed anything I thought it was referring to including sharepoint
services. How can I tell what is still halting it.
This is for a developmental environment with windows2003 sp2.

thanks

Look in the setup logs. There should be an entry that says what it found
that it didn't like.

On my system they're at:
c:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Setup Bootstrap\LOG\Files\
If that doesn't work, you could look in the directory indicated on the last
screen of the setup program.
