Getting the following error when attempting to use SSMS 2008 for anything beyond writing basic queries. I really don't want to have to start by formatting my machine and can't find a whole lot of help out there about this error. I do have VS 2008 w/ SP1, installed before running SQL 2008 Dev edition setup for a 32-bit machine. Running on Vista Business, patched and up to date as far as I can tell. Tried to apply CU2 to the SQL 2008 instance, but it didn't work. Once due to an error with something in Config.msi. Another time I couldn't quite tell what was going on. Any suggestions?
