Default W2K3 SP1 Performance Hotfix for SQL2000 - 08-03-2006 , 03:24 PM

Hi,

MS issued 919341 for W2K3 SP1 working with programs that use Structured
Exception Handling (MS SQL is one of them). It has an SQL2000 article 922658
associated with it. This is for build 2187 of SQL2000.

Is anyone using the 919341 fix and does it only work with SQL2000 build
2187?

We just had a production incident when we upgraded to W2K3 SP1 with build
818 of SQL2000.

Thanks

Chris Wood

Hi Chris

It seems the 919341 patch is only available from PSS so you could ask them!!

John,

I had hoped that someone reading this post had cause to either create or use
the hotfix and get an understanding as to whether it may help us fix our
problem.

Thanks

Chris
