Yukon is expected to be delivered next year sometime (which you can see
announced on many tech sites). Within a calendar year from today might be a
bit optimistic, however it is possible. As with most MS products, it'll
ship "when it's ready" -- and anyone who knows any more than that at this
point (e.g. a specific date or a narrower timeframe) is either bound by NDA
or talking out their ***.

To add a bit to what Aaron said below, and I'm pretty sure that I'm not
talking out of my *** :-), Paul Flessner stated at Teched in Dallas last
month that Yukon would be released in the second half of 2004. In addition,
Yukon is just the code name, the official product name has yet to be
determined.

Hope this helps,

So the MS SQL Server 2000 will still be until June 2004 ?

Alan,

SQL Server 2000 will be fully supported through at least the end of 2005,
regardless of the release date of the next version.
