Default Profiler problem - 11-30-2005 , 12:28 PM

If I try to filter the SQL Profiler data by Database name, it has no
effect. Is this a known bug or am I doing something wrong? If I limit
it by Database ID, it does work. In addition, if I add the Database
Name to the list of columns, it is always blank.

What am I missing?
On the client (where the profiler is) SQL Server 2000 SP4 is installed.
It connects to SQL Server 2000 SP3 server.

Thanks

Hi Frank

It is a known limitation of Profiler. It does not populate the database name
column, so filters on that column have no effect.
