can i use differential back up to initialize my transactional subscription? my full back is too large to setup the replication for every maintenance so if i can use differential back up on top of my existing backup on subscriber. any help appreciated. http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms147834.aspx |

You will not be able to create a database solely from a differential backup. You will need to restore the full backup first, then the differential.
