Default SQL Server Replication Problem - It never starts! - 11-15-2011 , 11:14 AM

I belive I have set up the replication correclty, on the server side,
I published the database, and on the client side I subscribed to it,
and on the server side you can see it talking, but when you look on
the client side, in the bottom of one of the windows it says, "This
task has never been run" - it's the first syncronization or whatever.
Anyway, I looked in the documentation and it says basically, "Right
click on the subscription and select start replication" Well, I right
clicked but that option doesn't exist on the right-click drop down!

help!

Have you tried starting the distribution job by hand? If it's a push
subscription, the job will be at the distributor. If it's a pull
subscription, the job will be at the subscriber. Try that and see
what happens. I agree that it's a weird situation, though.
