Hi Everybody,

I have encountered a problem when I was creating the transactional
replication. My design was putting the distributor and subscription on
the same machine. I was able to create the distributor however when I
tried to create Publisher from publication machine it asks me to define
the publication machine on the distiributor as a publisher. However
properties of the replication dose not give me that option. I can only
choose the distirbutor as a publisher not the another machine.

can some one help me on this issue?

Did you run sp_adddistributor on the publisher's box?

I found out that it is possible. It might be a version problem from my
SQL Test server. I guess it was a personal eddition now I am
reinstalling a server OS and I will install enterprise eddition on top
of it lets see whats gonna happen
