Default Merge Replication question - 04-20-2007 , 07:14 AM

Environment:
Merge Replication
Publisher: SQL Server Enterprise 2000, SP 4.
Subscriber: SQL Server Enterprise 2000, SP 3a

We ran into an issue when creating a subscription the other day.
When we tried to drop everything we got the folloiwng error message:

"Could not drop one or more tables because the tables are being used by
other applications"

Any ideas?
Thanks MJ

Are you sure that this is the exact message? Never heard of it before like
this, but there is a similar message where user tables can't be dropped as
they are being used by replication though. What is it that you tried to drop
exactly - pls can you tell us the steps involved?

Thanks Paul;

Resolution for xrepl.dll not found

xrepl.dll issue:
The subscriber had not been properly configured and permissions had not
properly been assigned.
