Default Writeback Dimensions - 09-19-2003 , 06:00 PM

I'm needing to allow users to add comments on the final results of
aggregations in the cubes, but can't use the writeback cube function
as my cube contains a 'Count' function. (Won't allow writeback on
anything other than Sums?)

So, I was wondering about allowing comments to be added as a writeback
dimension, but the 'writeback' property isn't being allowed in my test
cube. There is the potential for a comment on everyday and the fact
table is at the day level. (Yes, I do have the enterprise edition.)

Any ideas or suggestions?

Sincerely,
Kate

As a test of dimension writeback, have you tried using Analysis Mgr UI? I
assume you enabled the dimension for writeback?
