I'm looking for info on programmatically creating cubes and dimensions from
a client app.

I found this KB Article:

but when I try to navigate to the referenced whitepaper

It gives me a Page Not Found redirect. Where can I find this information.

Analysis services comes with examples which show you ways of creating dimensions,cubes etc programmatically

I was told that the page was removed in December as part of a content sweep
to remove old, outdated content. Apparently the KB folks weren't informed of
that but they have been now. :-)
