Default What-If analysis in excel - 06-13-2006 , 05:46 AM

hi,

i am trying to do a what-if analysis from excel
but i get the message: "Cannot change this part of a pivotTable report"
when i try to change a value in the leaf level

what is the problem?
the cube is already "Write Enable"
Are there any other operations i need to do in order to use the
"What-If"?

thanks,

but i alredy installed the "Excel Add-in for sql server analysis
services"
So i have the option to start the "What if" from the menu
(Cube Analysis -> What-If Analysis -> Begin)

but after i choose "Begin" and try to change a cell data
I get the message : "Cannot change this part of a pivot table report"

And I don't understand why

What do i have to do in order that i can change the cell data??
(The real target is to perform a write back- commit writeback after
changing the cell data)
