What can cause a cube to restart OLAP service? -

My scenario:
I have a cab file, containing 3 cubes, filled with a subset of data from a
database. (Last year of hours registered for clients, and all other data
like names and offices). I restore it. I try to view data through Analysis
Manager. It causes the OLAP Service to restart.
There might be a corrupt dimension. How do I find out? How can it happen?
(If I knew, I might be able to stop it from happening.)
What other things could cause this? Is there a better way to move a
database/cube? All I want to do is to right click the database I want,
choose Archive Database, store it somewhere on the local disk and choose
Archive. Then I copy the resulting cab-file, move it to a different Analysis
Server and do Restore Database. Sometimes I try to process it before looking
at the Data-tab, and sometimes I just go directly to the Data-tab. And it
just shuts down the OLAP-service.
I haven't made the cube myself, that's someone outside my company. I just
want to work with the cubes, but right now I can only do that at the
production server...
All help appreciated!
