Hi,

Can anybody tell me if there is a web client/ web access
to MS SQL 2000 Server's Enterprise Manager? In other
words, is there an application available that will allow
me to access/ do some admin stuff on a SQL Server located
offsite through the Internet? (Something like an internet
portal to Enterprise Manager)

If u want to access SQL Server remotely , you could register the server
from within Enterprise Manager . In case you didn't already know about
this ..... right click SQL Server Group - New SQL Server Registration .
In the 2nd screen type in the IP address of the Server m/c you want to
access - add it and click Next . in the 3rd screen choose SQL sErver
Authentication , click next , give the username and pwd - next - next
and finish . The server should have registered . You can see it in the
left pane.
I have come across one web based sql server admin solution provided by
MaximumASP (web hosting company) where our site is located . The
Admin can be done through browser .I dunno how they did it though ...
