The role consists largely of planning, supplier management, quality
assurance and procurement support for a business intelligence (BI) solution
delivered over the internet through a customised portal that services 4,000
users. The candidate will need familiarity with both BI and website
development in addition to more general managerial skills. Additional useful
skills would include a degree or experience in operational research (OR)
using mathematical or computer models, or other analytical approaches, to
find better ways of analyzing the information and inter-relationships.
Consulting assignments on systems modeling and some MBA subjects cover
similar areas of knowledge.
