Hello Everyone: We are being told that increasing the size of VLDMThreshold (way beyond the 64 MB default) on the 64-bit MAS has a very positive effect on performance. I was under the impression that the 64 bit platform did not use the large dimension manager process (msmdvldm.exe). Is the parameter VLDMThreshold used for anything else on the 64-bit MAS or does changing this parameter make no difference on the 64-bit? Please help with this subject as we cannot find much available information. Best regards, Mario |
