Is there a way to view the MDX that is executed when we browse a cube via
Visual Studio or SQL Server Management Studio?

Hi,

You can open the Management Studio, choose Toole --> SQL Server Profiler.
Then connect to Analysis Services and you can see which MDX statements are
processed.
