Default #value in excel - 04-19-2005 , 04:54 AM

I have a problem viewing my data in excel.

This is the setup: I have a server that I use to process my cubes. Then I
archive and restore the database on a different server. When I look at the
data in the analysis manager everything seems ok. When I look at the data
via excel then I get #VALUE instead of the figures.

When I use excel to connect to the original cube on the server that does the
processing I can my figures without any problems.

Someone an idea?

I checked the configuration of the analysis servers and they are both simular.

Regards,
Nico

Is the actual value "#VALUE" or is that just what is being displayed?
If the latter, what is the actual value of the cell?

I think I've seen this before that the value is too large for the column in
the pivot table.
I could be wrong.
Have you tried the MDX sample app to see what it displays from the same
machine as you are running the Excel?
