Please help if you have ANY ideas why the following is
happening:

I have a Win2k server "SERVER" running SQLS2k SP3 and
MSSQLServerOLAPService.

When I open Excel on the SERVER, and follow the wizard for
connecting to an external database, everythink works fine.

However, when I follow the same steps on a networked
PC "PC" I get the error:

"The operation requested failed due to security problems -
the user could not be authenticated"

I have tried:

1) Connect with no username or password
2) Connect using "Administrator" and "AdminPassword"
(SERVER local admin details)
3) Creating a new user on the SERVER, associated
with "OLAP Admins" and then use these account details
4) Connect with "SERVER\Administrator" and "AdminPassword"

Please not that both SERVER and PC are NOT part of a
domain.
