hi, everyone, Do you have such experience on this case? I use dso to merge
partition, but I got error when this cube opened with Analysis Manager? Is
there an lock this cube to protect not be merged? Is there any method to
avaid it in DSO?

Can you post the code that you have used to merge partitions ? May be
looking at that may throw some light.

Analysis Manager places high level locks on objects once it opens a
database/cube.
It does not allow multiple administrators looking at the same structure.
Since it uses DSO, it locks out DSO operations as well. If you have two DSO
applications, concurrency is better as DSO natively doesn't lock that
much -- it is AM doing the locking.
