I have a virtual cube based on two source cubes
What may be the reason measures coming from the first cube show nothing when I slice by a dimension wich belongs only to the second cube
Shouldn't it show the measures from the first cube based on the All level of any dimensions which doesn't belong to the first cube? I tested on foodmart and this is exactly what it does

Hi Carlos,

This is expected behaviour. What you need to do is create calculated measures for all the measures which have these problems and which use the VALIDMEASURE function (see BOL for more details).

So, rephrasing my original question

If I want measures from first cube to ignore user selection on any dimensions not belonging to the cube, what sould I do? Should I replace all of them by calculated members explicity retriving the All member for this dimensions? I am working on it.
