Default /*Urgent*/ Member Propertie limits? - 07-01-2003 , 11:50 AM

though u add a member property with 8000 characters (data
type as text, i guess), AS recognises characters till 256
only. AS do not suport the datatype text.

We are trying to use dynamic security to make
administration easier and
we created a property in a Flat Dimension with that
purpose: to store a
long string.

So, we created a varchar column 8000 characters long and
Regular
Propertie Type. We have observed that AS is only
capturing the first 256
characters of the field, it ignores whatever is after
that position. We
have no idea why this is so.

Any quick thoughts would be appreciated.

Really!? I think this product needs to improve a little... ;P So, AS
shouldn´t leave to do it...

Thank you so much for your help,
