I need the ability to update the cube from a custom action. Does anyone know a way of doing this? It appears the Update Cube MDX statement is not allowed as one of the actions (though, could also be me). Perhaps using a command-line utility or so? (I would hate to resort to this) |

Well, to be perfectly honest, the performance of calculated cells and calculated members stinks when it comes to dynamic rate based calculations. So, I am looking for a way to still maintain centralized business rules but doing it in a way that uses only aggregations. With actions, I might be able to circumvent this problem, but am cautiously optimistic at this point.
