Default Unable to use Excel functions in AS - 01-15-2004 , 10:59 AM

Hi,

I'm using Analysis Services (SP3) on WinXP Professional (SP1). Ans I also
use Microsoft Office 2003.

The problem is I can not use Excel functions in Analysis Services. For
example when I try to create a calculated member using Round function of
Excel, I get this error:
Formula Error: Invalid or unsupported user-defined function:
"!Excel!Round"

My husband's computer has the same operating system and same versions of
programs installed and he does not get this error. So I thought I had a
problem in either AS or Excel.

First I uninstalled Office and reinstalled it. This did not work. And then I
unistalled AS and then reinstalled it. Unfortunately this also did not work.

Did anyone have the same problem? If I can't get rid of this problem is
there a way to register Excel functions manually (what is the name of the
file that should be registered)?

Thanks...

Ipek
