Hello:

Today was the first time I tried to access the Olap Server.

I am running Windows XP Professional with SP2.

I am working on the server and I am a member of the Administrator group and
I also see that I am a member of the Olap administrator group as well.

When I tried to register the Olap server, I get the message:
Errors occured while connecting to venkat-wxp2. Unable to connect to the
registry on the server (venkat-wxp2), or you are not a member of the OLAP
Administrators group on this server. Do you still want to register this
server? Yes or No.

Can somebody help me get past this hurdle?

I remember changing the machine name since I installed the Analysis server.
Apparently, it does not like it. I unstalled and reinstalled it and it works
fine!
