Dear Friends,
I am running through a very weired problem. We are in a
process of installing OLAP (Analysis services) on one of
the server which has SQL locally installed on it.
The problem is that only a certain user is able to
install/Run the analysis service.
Even if the OLAP is installed successfully, only a
certain user is able to Run the analysis manager whereas
if we try to run through any other user(which is also a
member of OLAP Administrator group)it pops up with the
error message "unspecified error occured.restart the
application".
Does anyone have any idea whats the actual problem.

Please check if all the machines are Patched with the latest Service Pack for
Analysis Services - SP3 / SP3A.

you might need to assign permissions to the 'olap administrators' group or
do something with 'manage roles' inside of analysis manager.
