When I try to remotely register a server I get the following message:

Cannot connect to the repository

followed by:

Could not use ''; file already in use .

The account is in the olap adminsitrators group on both machines. any ideas?

change the NTFS security of the microsoft analysis services\bin folder to
allow the olap administrators group to read/write/modify

sometimes (near all time) the security is wrong.
