Default unable to connect to data source from analysis manager on my workstation - 09-01-2003 , 02:55 PM

Hello Folks ... Thanks in advance for any help. I've got analysis
services set up on a data server. I've got analysis services set up,
separately, on my workstation. I can browse the Cubes I've build on
the server from my workstation. However, I cannot edit those Cubes
fomr my workstation. I keep on getting

"Unable to connect to the ... [the analysis services database and data
source in question]... datasource"

My memory, however defective, tells me that this is some sort of
permissions issue.

Any ideas?

Many thanks.

You might need an OLAP administrator privilege to edit the
cube from workstations, Check your account privilege.
wild guess hope this works.
