Hi all,
I have a collegue that is trying to connect to the analysis services
through a pivot table the pivot table is in excel 2000 and so is the
server aka sql serve2000 analysis server
He gets error messages that he cannot connect but everyone else can he
has the same rights if not bigger rights but he is still unable to
connect????

You might try reinstalling the pivot table services on his machine, I think
on the SQL cd it is called PTSlite.exe and there is also a full called
PTSfull.exe
