Default Two restricctions for the same user - 07-20-2004 , 03:48 PM

Hi

I have a problem with the permisions of an user. He is a regional manager and he only have acces to his region data, but he already need to have acces to the clients that are in his region and in the rest of the country, but the other restriction he has restrict the access to that data.
In the pass(in other OLAP Server, no MS), this problem have been solved creating anoher user and the user login with one or the other user as the data he want to access. But in SQLServer that is imposible because he has to logout and then login again.
Whe try to put the user two roles, but conserve the restriction.
Is there a way to made it from permisions or is imposible?
Thanks in advance.

Create two Analysis Services roles. Place your user in both roles. In
Analysis Services, the *union* of the two roles' permissions is what the
user will have.
