Default Trouble using Adomd.net - 03-02-2005 , 07:18 PM

Hi,
I'm trying to use adomd.net in a asp.net application. VB.net in visual
studio.net, sqlserver 2000. I am new in this and having trouble
figuring out how to do my mdx queries using adomd.net. I have the .net
framework 1.1 installed on an xp pro. msxml 4.0 with service pack and
ms xml for AS. I get errors like "AdomdConnection is not defined."
"Microsoft.AnalysisServices.AdomdClient cannot be found" etc. Anyone
have any idea? Can you point me towards some good resources for
beginners? Thanks a lot.

I'd post your query in the microsoft.public.data.xmlanalysis newsgroup. It
is dedicated to the purpose of XMLA and ADOMD.NET.
