Hello Ryan, What are the exact error message? Did you change the session timeout configuraiton in msmdpump.ini ? SessionTimeout>3600</SessionTimeout Configuring HTTP Access to SQL Server 2005 Analysis Services on Microsoft Windows Server 2003 http://www.microsoft.com/technet/pro.../httpasws.mspx Also, did you apply SP1 on the server. As I know, there is a known issue that client application may receive "the connection cannot be made to the XXX server, or Analysis Services is not running on the computer specified" after 30 seconds when trying to retrieve some dimension members over HTTP. This issue is resolved in SP1. The error message I am getting is exactly as you describe below: "the connection cannot be made to the 10.200.23.24 server, or Analysis Services is not running on the computer specified" This error occurs 30 seconds after the command is executed. The server is running on windows XP, and has SQL2005 service pack 1 installed. The session timeout in the .ini file, I did not change. It is still 3600. I will try loading this onto a machine with windows 2003, and SQL 2005 enterprise edition SP1 to replicate what the production enviroment will be. I'll report back if the error occurs there as well.
