Default time parameter - 04-06-2004 , 08:36 AM

I'd like to obtain dimension, which act like this
toda
yesterday,
today-2
...

the problem is that the 'today' should be passed as a parameter from Excel (VB ?), i.e. user should be able to declare the date. How to resolve the problem.
TIA, bartles
