I search a solution to create an "testarea" for developing olap cubes. Is it
possible to use 2 different SQL database instances b.e. "test" and "live"?
For developing "test" and then switch to production? kind regards, benedikt

Hi,

Its possible to use "Test" database for testing purposes
and "live" database for production purposes.

You can change the OLAP Cube references - Database
Connection Properties - by editing the Data Link
Properties on the "Data Sources" folder under each OLAP
database.
