how is it possible, like in VS 2005 Reporting Services to switch
between the design and query mode of a MDX query?

In SQL Server 2005 Management Studio I either get the design mode by
browsing a cube or just the query mode by starting a MDX query command.

Is this switching functionality only be given in VS 2005 Reporting
Services?¨

but you can see the generated query by using the profiler.
