This question is from the Yukon Adventure Works cube, but I have posted it
on this site as I suspect my problem is with basic understanding of
distinct count rather than anything specific with yukon.

View the measure customer count using Calendar year hierarchy on rows and
Product Category on Filter.
Select H1 CY 2004 under CY 2004
Select Product category Bikes
Can see results

Also select Product Category Clothings
Can see results

Add Category Components and we get null rows.

Components does not return any rows by itself.
Bikes and Clothings do.

does this mean when we do a distinct count multselect on the filter pane,
we are asking for measure for Bikes AND Clothings AND Components rather
than Bikes OR Clothings OR Components ?

Sorry, also wanted to add that when the time dimension is set to ALL, then
i get the required results.

Does that mean we can have only one set of "ORs" for a distinct count
aggregate?
