We have a requirement to do quite a bit of statistical analysis on
data from
Analysis cubes please advice what are the good statistical analysis
tools do we need something like SPSS,etc

SAS Enterprise Guide specifically supports analysis of OLAP data from
verious OLE DB for OLAP-compliant servers, including Analysis Services.
A statistician that I know tried an early version of this interface, but
found some quirks with time dimensions, which are hopefully fixed:
