Default SSAS: Strange behaviour in PTS with two dimensions that do not have All level - 05-03-2006 , 08:01 AM

Hi,

I am seeing strange behaviuor in PTS that I believe is the bug.
To reproduce:
1. Add measure
2. Add two dimensions to row or column. Use dimensions that both do not have
all level.
3. Move one dimension in front of each other. You will see that in one
dimension some members disapear even when there is values for them. You
might have to do a bit of movement around to reproduce it. Usually disapears
members that are default members for dimension!

Anyone can confirm this?

Thanks

Hello,

Though I was not able to reproduce the issue on my side, I have reported
the issue to the proper channel. Also, since this might be a bug, I
recommend that you open a Support incident with Microsoft Product Support
Services so that a dedicated Support Professional can assist with this
case. If you need any help in this regard, please let me know.

For a complete list of Microsoft Product Support Services phone numbers,
please go to the following address on the World Wide Web:

Hi Peter,

Thank you for your help. Unfortunatelly it is not an option for us to report
this bug to Microsoft Product Support services, as this process is very
expensive time wise.
This bug with was known for us for over 2-3 years, and as we reproduced in
now on SSAS2005, I submit it here hoping somebody will notice.

Thank you again
