I have installed SQL 2005 Sept CTP on to a different drive letter than C:
and now when I go into SSAS, open a cube, click on the Calculations tab and
then under Calculation Tools click on the Templates tab I receive an error
saying "Error loading templates: Could not find a part of the path
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL
Server\90\Tools\Templates\olap\1033\MDXTemplates.x ml"



I checked and the files are not located on C: but they are on "F:\Program
Files\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Tools\Templates\olap\1033\MDXTemplates.x ml"



Any suggestions on how I might fix the pointers to the templates without
have to remove and reinstall to c:.

Have you tried just copying the file to the same path, but on the c
drive?

I seem to remember reading somewhere that installs to paths other than
the default were not supported, but I can remember if this still applies
to the Sept CTP.
