Default SSAS 2005: Contains function does not work - 01-13-2006 , 11:09 AM

Hi,

Anyone know why function "Contains" would not work for me (error states
that it does not exists) even it is described in Books Online?

Thanks

This is a bug in BOL. There is no MDX function with such a name in AS2005.

Thanks for confirming this. So which function should I use to check if
member/touple is in set?
Currently I am using intersect and then result set count is 1, that means
this tuple in the set.
Any better way to do same thing?

Thanks

Another way of doing it is to call Rank. Depending on the set, and on the
order in which you put parameters for Intersect - it may be more or less
efficient.
