we're having a problem with sql 2005 x64 Analysis Services against
teradata.. we're just trying to process cubes against teradata.. we're
using SQL 2005 of course; x64 everything.. and we're talking about
going back to the real 32-bit world.. i dont want to be stuck in the
32bit world; but we aren't having any luck with connecting via sql
2005.
i mean
a) should we be using ODBC? / OLEDB?
b) isn't there SOMETHING in teradata that would make all of this XML so
that we could connect WHEREVER and WHENEVER we want?? is this an
option?? can AS connect to XML directly??
c) authentication; is there any chance that usign SetSpn in order to
allow double-hop authentication would help?
d) is there anyone at Teradata that speaks Analysis Services?
e) does anyone know which drivers we SHOULD be using?
f) has anyone else had any success with this?
thanks a ton guys
we've been stuck with the 3gb limit out here for a while; and we're
really looking forward to doing stuff in native x64 |
