I have recently upgraded from SQL 2000 to SQL 2005. I upgraded a SQL
database, as well as an Analysis Services database. I have a web server,
still ASP.NET 1.1 but I am using the OLEDB for OLAP 9.0 provider to connect
to the AS 2005 cube. And I have a separate server running SQL 2005. The
application works, hitting the new 2005 back end, but it responds
significantly slower than the other server running a SQL 2000 back end.
Does anyone have any advice on SQL 2005 and AS 2005 configuration changes I
could make to speed up my application?
