Default Specifying filter criteria for Incremental Update using ProcessPartition.exe - 01-08-2004 , 06:40 AM

I am hoping to use the ProcessPartition.exe utility to incrementally
update partitions, dimensions and cubes in an Analysis Services 2000
application we are building. One thing is unclear to me; if I wish to
incrementally update a cube, say, then Analysis Services needs to
know the filter criteria, i.e. how to recognise the rows which need
to be added from those which have already been processed. It is easy
to see how to do this from Analysis Manager, and from the Analysis
Services Processing Task in DTS, but not so from either the command
line of ProcessPartition.exe, or in the UI or .pco file of
ParallelProcess.exe. Assuming that my fact table has a column called
[SUMMARIZED], with value 0 denoting unsummarised and value 1 denoting
summarised; how would I specify the filter criterion [SUMMARIZED]=0
in the .pco file, and on the command line for ProcessPartition.exe?

Cheers,
