Default SP_WHO - 08-14-2003 , 08:02 AM

Hi All,

I am new to Analysis Services, so this question may sound dump. Is there a
way to monitor activities on Analysis Server, something similar to SP_Who in
SQL Server? How to tell what users are connected, what datasources are
being used, which cubes are being processed?

Thanks,
Amit

If you enable logging you can capture much of this information. Rt-click
server name and select Properties, Logging, 1 to 1, if you want.

Then, you can select a cube and rt-click for Usage Analysis. A number of
reports are available here that show users and resources.

This will only give you cube-specific info. Not what you're looking for,
but probably the closest thing to it.
