I need to maintain snapshot of project statuses at a monthly grain.
One way to do it is to repeat the same information for every month.

Is there any way AS2005 or 2000 can handle this if the data model has a from date - to date column?

example - status of project A is at X on Jan 2004.
status of project A changes to Y on Nov 2004.

Any query for Jan to Oct should show status X and Nov onwards Y.
