Absolutely no effect.
There is an entire section on optimizing processing performance in the AS
Performance Guide.

It is also a topic of discussion in the AS Operations Guide when we talk
about the best practice of using the optimize schema wizard (in the cube
editor) -- when we talk about specifying a server-wide processing log file
(so you can track the SQL statements which AS issues -- which is one of the
sources of slow processing performance).
