Hi,

I have an OLAP cube in an internet site,
and I would like to filter the values of the
dimension to display based on their logins
(sql db authentication).
Can anyone give an advice on how to go around
my problem?

Ex :

Cube for sales :

Dimension : Province

Province A
Province B

If a user from province A logins, the dimension
Province should only have a displayed member -
Province A and not see Province B as an option in the
dimension.

May, in short this involves creating Roles that include dimension security.

Thanks for the reply, Yes, it should include dimension security but I
dont know how to set dimension security if I dont require my user to
login using windows authentication.
I only use db authentication for the website, (sql table).
I was thinking of passing a variable, but neither that do i know how.
